A northeast Ohio native, Wendy has lived in Beachwood for ten years and has seen firsthand the tremendous quality of the Beachwood schools. Together with her husband, Dr. Carl Horowitz, Wendy is thrilled to be raising their kids in such a vibrant and diverse community.

• Served on the Cleveland Heights/University Heights Board of Education from 2004-2008

• Served as president of NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, 2005-2009

• Sunday School teacher at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple, 1997-2006
